Emergency Room

24 Hour Emergency Services You Can Count On

In the event of a medical emergency, you can count on MMC to be there for you. Our experienced and board-certified emergency medicine physicians and caring, compassionate staff members are here to serve you 24-hours a day.

Our Emergency Room Physicians are board-certified in Emergency Medicine and have years of experience in Emergency Services. Our current ER Physicians have been serving Modoc County since 2007.

Your convenience and comfort will be maximized with our diagnostic bedside services, which include portable X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Laboratory Services. Our CT scanner is also housed outside the Emergency Room, and our emergent Laboratory and Radiology Services are available 24 hours a day.

If, following your Emergency Room visit, you are well enough to be discharged, your nurse will review the doctor’s discharge instructions and give you information on how to care for your injury or illness at home.

Your nurse will refer you to your primary care provider for any needed follow-up care.
