We are looking for Healthcare Providers

Modoc Medical Center (MMC) is looking for medical Providers. We currently have an opening for a general surgeon. If you are looking for a better quality of life, this is your opportunity.

MMC is a small facility where employees have direct access to administration and peers. Our excellent medical staff teaches and collaborates on complex medical problems and how to resolve those. We also offer our team the ability to influence medical care within the organization. Patient-centricity is a hallmark of our culture.

Our facility also offers sound financial stability as an organization. Our ability to support and sustain further medical care growth in the community is also a priority at MMC. Additionally, we have a new facility, and a new skilled nursing facility will be coming soon.

Work Environment

CLINIC

Our Clinics offer great support for our Clinic providers. Each provider has a dedicated Medical Assistant and Care Coordinator. During their 10-hour workday, providers also have access to a remote scribing service. Working in a rural and independent healthcare organization additionally offers our providers the opportunity to interact with their peers, supervising physicians, and colleagues. MMC likewise boasts a provider schedule that allows for patient interaction and follow-up within regular working hours.

HOSPITAL

Our Hospitalist providers have a 10-hour workday. With an 8-bed capacity in our hospital, our providers have the ability to also care for residents in our skilled nursing facility. The Hospitalist schedule boasts a one-week (7-day) rotation every three weeks that offer our providers ample opportunities for time off or to moonlight. Moreover, our Hospitalists are not required to be on call.
